Automatic Swing Doors ANSI 156.10
A power operated mechanism which is attached to a swing or slide door for the purpose of mechanically opening and closing a door upon receipt of an actuating signal. The opening time of a swing door shall not be less than 1.5 seconds and shall not close through the final 10 degrees in less than 1.5 seconds.
Low Energy Swing Doors ANSI 156.19
A power operated mechanism which is attached to a swinging door for the purposes of mechanically opening and closing a door upon receipt of an actuating signal. The opening time of a swing door shall not be less than 3 seconds and shall not close through the final 10 degrees in less than 3 seconds.
Automatic Bi-Parting Slide Doors
A operator that causes a pair of door panels to slide away from each other to form a single common opening. They are available in packages that allow only the sliding panels to break-open for emergency egress or packages in which both the slide panels and the sidelites break-open.
Automatic Single Slide Doors
An operator that causes a single door leaf to slide either to the left or right. They are available in packages that allow only the sliding panels to break-open for emergency egress or packages in which both the slide panel and the sidelite break-open.
Automatic Bi-Folding Doors
An operator that operates a door leaf that is vertically hinged in the middle to create a folding action when activated. This door is available as a single bi-fold leaf or a bi-folding pair. Operators power the door through a center-hung pivot.
